Obedience Class

For dogs 9 months and older.

In this class, we focus on basic obedience including sit, down, stay with release cue, impulse control, meet and greet, loose leash walking, and recall. This is a good class for those coming from the puppy program or if your dog is over 9 months and you want to start training. 

Our obedience class meets once a week for 6 weeks. The first class serves as an orientation, you will not bring your dog. Criteria covered in all classes include:

• Hand & Verbal cues for sit & down
• Release cue from sit, down and place
• Loose Leash Walking
• Recall
• Place
• Impulse Control
• Meet & Greet with people
